Hello,
Can we use this thread to crowd source a master list of all YourPace Courses that have MC finals ?
Per the advising they dont have a full list of courses that have MC Finals
For me these are what I can confirm have MC Finals:
BUS321 Human Resource Management
BUS350 Bus. Law I
BUS352 Bus. Law II

Rumor has it that all MC exams are going away for Fall 1 with the move to Brightspace from Strut. Although those courses may have exams right now, they may not have exams in the future.

As Rachel mentioned, it would likely be useful only for Summer 2. This document is older, but it should be mostly accurate:

BUS 343 shows as "TBD" but it was an exam when I took it in Spring 2. Hopefully in Fall 1 there will be some kind of documentation available to help students plan.

We have had a list of courses with exams on here in the past. Like previously stated, Strut is going away and exams are going with it. We don't know when the change will take place - Fall 1 or Fall 2. If you're not currently taking classes, this won't impact you because you won't have anything to compare the change to.

Dang that stinks!
I started this session but am on classes #9 #10 for the term, I'm graduating after Summer 2 so I'm just trying to race to the finish line, and with the MC/Adaptives those classes are the easiest.

There never were a ton of exams in YourPace. I'm not surprised to see them going away though. The business classes have had the most exams - less than 1/4 of those courses are exams. I don't think there are any exams in history/poli sci or English. As the program grows, the cheating has certainly increased. That alone is a reason to get away from exams.

BUS 325 and BUS 440 were both exams for me. That said I preferred the classes with a final paper/project. I got As in every class with a paper/project and got a B in both classes I took with exams.

Sometimes exams are easier and sometimes they're not, it really depends on the student and how they study/take exams or how they complete assignments. People have preferences, I think it depends on the subject matter as well, it may be better for exams in one course and assignments on another...
