Just wondering is there another course provider that is similar to Penn Foster that allows retaking the exams, if you don't score a high enough grade? I am doing fine with my Penn Foster courses but this just crossed my mind, as I don't recall researching this before. Thanks,
Oh wait, the CSU Global CBE are one... Does any school themselves offer a second try for free? I haven't had a need to, but Study.com, Saylor Academy, Straighterline, CLEP/DSST, TECEPS, don't have that option. You can retake the exam, it's just going to cost you.

SL offers this for your first exam, but not for the rest.
I don't think you can count Saylor in with the rest, as you can retake it, but even if you took it 3 times, it still would barely get to the cost of a single other option. Plus they have the unproctored final exam, which is a free practice test for each one.

I remember the TEEX exams (I only did one three-part "course") being basically unlimited retries with no delay between attempts. Really just a joke when it comes to being worth credit.. heh.

they lock up after attempting them 5 times.
i think i've seen that you can contact them to have them unlocked though. Not sure how that goes.
but yeah, your point about credit stands. I won't complain, though

Thanks, yeah. I shouldn't group Saylor along with these, it's cheap enough credits already.

hilarious I took all three for use as my free elective credits. They're easy open course material exams.
Basically I had the course materials open on one browser and test in another window, easy 6 credits.
It was funny there were a couple of times I did better on the pretest than the post test.
