Sadly, I have been forced to report this course to the HLC and ACE, due to my personal/professional ethics:
re: "Prof, are you even in control of what is happening in the course you oversee?", as I discovered some young woman, a student IT support agent, IN FULL CONTROL OF MY FINAL GRADES, just able to edit them on the fly!
Then she entered my grades, missed entering entering the final grade (for ALL of the COURSERA section, including overall final combined grade) AND FINALIZED MY COURSE... I passed, but she TANKED my GPA (took me from 98%+ to 88%!!)
The prof took days to even notice, and only after I contacted "The Dean of Students" office.
How can the Prof have replied to my emails, graded my paper, had an in scribe chat with me about the paper... but is not aware of issue or noticing .... WHO IS GRADING THE COURSE AND CORROSPONDING?
Worse online learning experience I have EVER had (and I have had about 3, "really bad ones", including this)

ASU class can be redone until you're satisfied, I'm not sure what you need to get past the 88 to get to a 93 or higher, just get it to the A and leave it at that... I've never read anyone here getting anything less than the A, did they make changes? Basically, to end the class, fix the part that can get you the A, and leave it, pronto...

I contacted them, directly, and did get a resolution (well just the correct grading data, I earned, entered).
Also: it was not my intent for my report on my experience, to become a major topic/thread (I only wanted to warn others)
The point wasnt my minor issue... it was a student IT agent (none of these 3 words, qualifies this person to grade me, or anyone else) able to alter my grades "freely", and then screw up that process that concerns me.
I am not familiar with ASU's processes, but this "feels bad man" (well wrong, or, very unprofessional)
I see many Coursera "linking" issues in the InScribe... I doubt I'm the first to complain there or directly via email.

Not to sound "low class", but ... "I pay money for this" ... and they seem to treat it like "its not even a real class"

That's the thing with this ASU 1 credit class, it's a very basic intro class to IT, basically, a slimmed down version of the Google IT Professional certificate, thus, it's all on auto-pilot, there are no instructors, you're using students for peer review of your work, that's it... Furthermore, if you continue with their ASU certificate that has 4 extra classes, you've got a certificate from them and the Google IT Professional. Their other classes are $400+$25, if you add that together, it's much more expensive and just 1 class over the Google IT professional, just to have their ASU prof cert (and transferable credits). I wouldn't pay that extra for their cert at all unless you really need those extra transferable credits...

At least I got the credit. Hopefully my experience was a "fluke" event

I have taught at 3 different colleges, but I have never entered grades directly. I haven’t had access to the system to enter grades. I have filled out scan sheets at 2 of the schools and submitted a spreadsheet at the third.
I have no idea who actually entered the grade, but I doubt it was the registrar him/herself.
