Cornerstone liberal arts
#11
davewill Wrote:March would be the deadline (you have 1 year after acceptance) past which you'd have to pay another $75 and reapply to the university. It sounds like right now you aren't subject to the cornerstone because you applied before it was in effect. You should probably go ahead and take some useful TECEP and become enrolled.

They'd save more money by doing the study.com affiliate pricing, depending on what degree they're looking for. I can't think of any major negative changes from the past catalog for most majors other than the cornerstone, and if you can get that waived and a bunch of discounts from study.com, you're coming out ahead anyway.

They could also do both, I suppose, if there was some other catalog change they want to avoid -- Enroll before the deadline they were given, and still get affiliate pricing.

$200 for the monthly Study.com fee = $200 off the residency waiver fee - so unless you're going to need some classes there, or can't get the waiver for the cornerstone (which you can after you bring 105 credits in), it doesn't make much sense to do it.
