Concordia University Irvine Adult degree completion program...maybe Big 4
#1
Concordia University Irvine is a B&M school but I noticed that they are very similar to the Big 3 in terms of accepting many different types of credits. CLEPS, DSST, Straighterline, ACE, and even Excelsior Exams. This is openly mentioned on their website. This seems like another viable option for those who want to pursue a degree from a B&M as opposed to one of the Big 3. I didn't check on the tuition, too lazy and too hungover:ack: from last night.http://www.cui.edu/AcademicPrograms/Adul...x?id=20455

A lot of schools accept CLEP, DSST, AP, IB, ACE, NCCRS, etc. Some schools even give credits for the SAT II while the Big 3 do not, at least not TESC. Empire State College even gives credits for the GRE. The Big 3 are separated from the rest because of their extremely liberal transfer credit policies. Aside from Athabasca's one degree program that allows 100% transfer credits but no CBEs, there are no other schools that will allow you to get away with only taking one, two, or no courses in residence. Concordia University Irvine's transfer credit policies are actually more restrictive than what I've seen at many other traditional schools.

Quote:Transfer units can be used for GE or Elective units only, no major coursework will be transferred.
Students will be allowed a maximum of 32 unaccredited transfer units. This includes CLEP, DSST, and Straighterline.
Maximum transfer units by program:
Applied Liberal Arts: 78
Business Administration & Leadership: 72
Healthcare Management: 68
Organizational Psychology: 78

My bad, it sounded good this morning. Then I guess it's mediocre at best.
