Ah, so you’re saying it’s an overage of 3 credits?

There's a difference, maxxor6868 mentioned the MIS which wasn't included in the evaluation. That's the reason why both the Coopersmith and TECEP course is required. It depends on personal preference, if either course is a good option for you, take it and the MIS course, remove the other course that's not needed, or leave it as is...

My computer science degree at TESU is finished except for one course. I thought the TECEP exam CMP-354 for Network Technology could no longer be used??? This means you have to take Linear Algebra at Coopersmith to complete the UL requirements. I've already taken everything else that can be taken at Study.com.
I tried to ask about a discount at Coopersmith. They said I had to call them which I thought was weird. I e-mailed them back and said I wasn't in the military and they didn't reply, so I assume there is no other discount.

Where do you find out the TECEP no longer works?

This was discussed back in September, that CMP 354 wasn't considered computer science anymore and that people couldn't get it added to their degree plans.

Seriously? Is that post still around? I was planning on taking that but it looks like if that is out then the only thing that is left is linear algebra from Coopersmith. Can anyone confirm this?

Oh, yes. I went through this same thing. But you might get an exception:

I am working through all of this now. Here are my relevant experiences:
I just applied to TESU and registered for the TECEP CMD 354. Even though I have not yet passed the exam, it appears in the academic evaluation tool under the upper level section.
Nobody has mentioned study.com CS310: Current Trends I'm told both by study.com support that this comes in as upper level. Also supported by the "full transfer guide" on this page:
https://study.com/college/school/thomas-...rsity.html I will do the transcript later this month, after which I will know for certain.

did study.com say that or tesu? Because there guide says that comes in as 299 which is not upper level I thought? Can it be use for computer science aos?

study.com said it. I'm going to find out from TESU soon. Here is a direct copy from my email with the study.com success coach: "CS 303, 306 and 310 from Study.com are accepted by TESU for upper-level credit. The only other upper-level CS course on
Study.com accepted by TESU is CS 302. " And then when I asked about Business 303: "Courses that transfer in with the CIS code are supposed to work for the CS Elective section of your degree. It's not a bad idea to confirm that with a TESU advisor, though. They have been updating this degree recently. "
