My annual enrollment with TESU is set to expire in May, so I'd like to register for a TECEP in March or April. My last course with my Study.com scholarship will be Information Systems & Computer Applications, and I'll be taking that in early March. Will that course be enough to prepare me for the TECEP?
If I understand correctly, I HAVE to pass it in order to stay enrolled right? Or will I keep my enrolled status regardless of whether or not I pass it?

Have you earned 3 credits through TESU? To maintain continued enrollment you must earn at least 3 credits every 12 months through TESU (TECEP or TESU course). There are different requirements for contract programs such as the military program.

I haven't earned any credits with them yet, so I'll need to take a TECEP. I have to take the Fed Taxation TECEP for my degree but I don't think I'll be prepared for it by March. I'd like to take an easier one first to lock in my enrollment for the year.

Might consider TECEP Liberal Arts Math? For someone like you who has done the ALEKS sequence through precalc, should be a breeze.

The Liberal Arts Math I studied for by using ALEKS beginning Algebra. If you enjoy and are comfortable with math, pre-algebra and algebra it should be doable.
I passed the Computer Concepts and Applications with little studying. I am not a computer professional but I have used computers for work and school for many years and do have some knowledge. The Computer Concepts and Applications does not require advanced knowledge but does require some knowledge and experience with various software, hardware, operating systems, etc. This is a TECEP that might be very easy for some and very difficult for others.

After thinking about it some more, it just makes more sense to study and take the Fed Taxation TECEP instead of taking an exam that I don't even need and wasting money. I'll prob wait until the March term to register and then take the exam in May. That'll give me some time to prepare.
If any of you have taken this exam, feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I took the Computer Concepts TECEP and thought it was easy, and I had to real "computer" experience beyond using one on a daily basis. You can also use it in the NatSci area if you need a science course.
I took Tech Writing, I thought that was easy as well, and I used it for the Info Lit requirement.
The Applied Liberal Arts Math TECEP was by far the easiest, I did it between ALEKS Int Alg and Coll Alg. I scored a 90% on that one, so I would highly recommend that if you need any GE or math credits.
My lowest score on a TECEP was Public Relations, which I thought was really hard, and I studied quite a bit for that one. Just a lot of stuff I was not interested in at all.

You can look it up on TESU's website and they will give you a list of recommended materials to study for it.
I took it cold.
