If you want to transfer it in it needs to be a C or better, a C- won't come in from what I have been told. If your school doesn't report + or - then a C is fine no matter what you got in the course. I do think TESU considers a C 74-79 and 70-73 is a C- but I could be wrong.

Here is what it says on the website:

Students may transfer in or apply Thomas Edison State University course grades of D to their non area of study requirements as long as their overall grade point average is at least a 2.0, or higher as determined by the School in which they are enrolled, with the following exceptions:
  • All area of study courses must be graded C or better in order to apply to area of study requirements
  • All required composition courses must be graded C or better
  • No course in which a student earned a D- grade will be accepted in transfer
Now, College Algebra is required for the degree, but it does not come into the Core/AOS, so I'm not certain if they will require a C or better on it.

Did you take it through ALEKS? If so, 70% or higher is required on the assessment.

That's what I was thinking would be the easiest option!

I actually took it like 15 years ago and I'm not showing that it went into that area so that's why I was wondering
