I'm new to this whole thing and was wondering if anyone could help me plan for my general education requirements if I'm going for a BSBA in General Management (not sure if that even matters with gen ed).
Is this a good plan that fulfills all the requirements for general education? I looked at a few others, but they were out of date so I made my own. I was also wondering what platform I could take the 6 credits needed for "written communication." If I were to work as hard as I could what is a plausible amount of time it would take me to finish all these Gen Ed requirements? I want to finish as quickly as I can.
I'll start to plan the other sections for this degree once I get this all sorted.
Thank you everyone who is on the forum you have helped me so far a ton.

This is based on one of my plans (which isn't out of date at all). It looks good. The main problem is that it's hard to look at only a section of a degree plan. There might be things in the Core/AOS/Free Electives which might apply to Gen Eds.
A few questions:
1) why would you only take 1 SL course (Speech) when you could take several in a month with your membership, and cut the costs for them all?
2) why would you take a CLEP when you can take the same course at SL or Study.com? Again, cutting costs.
One last recommendation: take Info Systems & Computer Apps after Intro to Computing. There will be some overlap, making the second course go more quickly. Also, one can go in the Understanding the Physical & Natural World, and the other in Gen Ed Electives - but then when you do the Core, one will move down into that area.

You can take free cleps if you do them thru modern states

Do you mind sending me your plan? I just browsed the degreefourm wiki and used those. For your first question I didn't really take that into consideration so I will have to refine knowing that now. For your second question the reason CLEP exams are on there is because I either have already completed them or have purchased and am studying for them so there is no turning back on those. Thank you for the computer classes tip as well.
I'm just looking at your signature, you should finish your ALEKS off first before it "expires" at the end of this month.
I would then work on whatever else that maybe easier for you, by "sorting them in groups" of similar content/courses.
All in all, that's a workable spreadsheet, if you need something to review, you can check out dfrecore's templates.
OR, you can check the two that I've customized mainly using Straighterline and Study.com for the entire degree.
It's in my "about me" section of my profile, the link to the two spreadsheets I've modified from dfrecore's original.
You can place other exams from CLEP/DSST/TECEP into those courses if you find ones you want...
