College Composition Clep

I am taking the college composition clep tomorrow. This is my first clep very nervous. Anyone have any advice? Is it easy to pass?

Advice for tomorrow? Same advice for any test the next day. Eat sensibly today, get a good night's sleep, and eat sensibly tomorrow before the test so that your brain can function at its best. You know yourself. Will cramming today increase your anxiety? Anxiety isn't a test taker's friend.

You are aware that you won't know whether you passed for several weeks, right? According to the posted schedule, your results should go into the mail no later than 1/6/15.

I am taking the college composition CLEP in a few weeks. I'm curious about how the essay portion works. I know that the first essay is 30 minutes and the second essay is 40 minutes, but when does the timer actually start? Are you able to read the prompts and plan an outline before the timer starts? And will I have a break in between essays or do I have to go directly from one to the next (with the timer still counting down)?

Right now I've been starting the timer as soon as I open the book and look at the essay prompt.

One more question: concerning the two sources in the second essay - will I be able to look back and reference them while I'm writing, or will I just be dependent on notes I take when reading them the first time?

The time is broken up - 30 minutes, then it stops till you advance the screen and can start the 40 minutes. But once you view the prompt, the timer starts counting down.

That's good.

The sources will be at the top of the screen and you can go up to look at them while writing your essay in the bottom portion of the screen.
