REA book is better.

I passed all the CLEP tests(in my signature) with REA's books.
Check the reviews on amazon though, they have a book or two that seemingly aren't the best.
Passed Tests.....

I definitely wouldn't use it as my sole source of review for the CLEP unless you are fairly good at math already... It does cover and explain quite well some concepts that other resources I used did not mention much. It also gives some great tips on how to find the right answer quickly with a multiple-choice test like this CLEP, which I found rather useful when I took this test.

That's what I was told by a friend. I have been using mainly rea study guide.
Unfortunately I had been solely been using cracking the clep when I first started studying for the test. It seems like the rea book goes much more in depth.

Oh okay.. I did not use the REA, but I have been told my many others who have that it was not extremely helpful for the test.. I guess it depends on how much experience you have in math. My main resources were the Comex (Comex Guide To College Mathematics - CollegePlus! Store I looked on Amazon.com for this book first, but it's cheaper on this site), Princeton's Cracking the CLEP, College Mathematics CLEP Free Study Guide! - Free-Clep-Prep.com (A good guide on what to study), and Khan Academy (A great resource for learning more about any subject that you're not quite familiar with it.. He does an awesome job at explaining concepts).
