How long does it take your school to receive yuor CBT scores? I took the test today and my school has to have my scores electronically by 9/14 or I have to be back in class. Please let me know how long it took. Thanks!

My average is 7 days overall; if I break it down further, it's 6.5 from CLEP and 7.75 from DSST. The longest it's taken an exam to get to Excelsior was 13 days in late December 2007, likely due to the increase in traffic at the holidays.
If you're worried about the score reaching your university in time, ask if they will accept a copy of your printed score report in the meantime.

Thank you for your help! I tried seeing if they would accept the printout but the University of Phoenix is nuts...they act like I'm lying.

Just wanted to let you know that DSST does not send any scores electronically. They can only be generated on paper and mailed to your university. If you took your exam yesterday (9/3), the earliest Prometric will receive your score is Tuesday, though with the holiday on Monday it may be Thursday. If you call them, they will tell you it can take 7-10 days for your score to show up in their computer system. I am not sharing to scare you, just to educate you. Holidays always mess up their "reporting" of scores to their mainframe. My suggestion to you would be to give them a phone call each morning (beginning on Tuesday and every day after that). They will look up your record and let you know if your score has "posted" to the system. On the day it appears, your score report will get printed. This does not mean that score will get in the mail right away though. If you want to have a chance that UoP gets your score by 9/14, you might want to consider paying the $25 overnight fee because that is the only way to be sure when it gets mailed. I hope this helps you out...
