Hi all, I am posting my first thread after having read through the forums for several weeks. So much good information here! I look forward to contributing.
I am taking my College Composition CLEP this afternoon, and while I am comfortable with the multiple choice portion of the test I am concerned about getting stuck on the essays. I think my writing skills are good enough, but I worry about coming up with facts to support my opinion. I am just wondering what the essay section has been like for those of you who have taken it. Are the topics pretty universal, or do they require a lot of background knowledge of history/current events/politics? My fear isn't necessarily about being able to write an essay, but more about getting a topic that I know nothing about.
