Has CCU pursued regional accreditation?
No, they have not and in all probability will not. CCU is a top-notch NA school and their accreditor (DETC) is on par with any of the RA accreditors.

Quote:PREREQUISITES TO ADMISSION
An applicant must meet the following prerequisites in order to be admitted to the program:
An applicant must have earned a Bachelorâs Degree in Business Administration or Management: or,
A Bachelorâs Degree in another field may be offered if the Admission Committee evaluation indicates that
the applicant has the necessary foundation to succeed in the program.

Bachelors of Science, Liberal Studies Degree, Excelsior
MBA Human Resource Management, California Coast University
Can you tell us what you needed to do to meet the "necessary foundation"? Is there no GMAT or GPA requirement?

I had to write an academic resume which showed the necessary background to be accepted. My BS degree's GPA was 3.37 and I had many years of business and supervisory experience.
I originally tried to get in on the Masters of Psychology program but was denied. I did have the requirements for the MBA though, and in hindsight, it will tie in better with my real-world experience. Lee

I am going to enroll for the Masters in Education program and the advisor indicated that if someone referred me, both of us would get a $100 off tuition and a free book rental.
Please let me know!

I can also name a graduate. I mentioned to the advisor that I would be happy to take the graduates $100 off tuition as well since they were already graduated and didn't need the $100. I don't think they'll let me, though.
May I use your name, Brian?
And thanks, Larry, for the offer. I am not clear about all of the referral perameters.

Any currently enrolled California Coast Unversity students out here?
I'm looking for someone who would be willing to refer me to CCU.
I would be entering into CCU's Master's program and hope to be able to register during April, where they have an additional $300 credit available for students entering during this month.
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
