CSU global to tesu comp sci
#1
I wonder what If any CSU global self study assessments in management information systems and information technology would Transfer into tesu bacs as regional credit for aos or comp sci electives. And would any be upper level.? $250 for upper level wouldn’t be a bad price.

I didn’t notice the two listed under computer science as well.

Basic Programming does transfer as a 300-level course, but you need to check with an advisor because these rules constantly change. Also, if that course is too similar to another course you already have, TESU can decline to take it. The other computer science courses have not yet been evaluated by TESU. I'm not sure about the IT courses.

However, I'm sure that other courses have been evaluated. We probably have a thread on it somewhere.

Great. So that’s one Inexpensive potential upper level. I technically only have to take 3 ra courses ( granted its 3 more than it was before yesterday.) plus the caP and cornerstone. I have 24 more ace credits I can exhaust.

I doubt IT courses will cover Comsci degree. Look like they r willing to stick only to comsci courses without room to work on. But we will know only if someone will get feedback from TESU

CSU has a self-study assessment "Information Systems Analysis and Design" MIS-350. MIS-350 comes to TESU as CIS-320 System Analysis & Design. This overlaps with SDC's Computer Science 302, unfortunately, but could be good for credit if you are otherwise short on RA options.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Can anyone take CSU's self-study assessment exams as a non-degree student?

I was just going to post that people need to find out if they are now open to everyone. They were only open to enrolled CSU Global students when I was enrolled earlier this year., but it may have changed.

It's been suggested that students take a 1-credit class at CSU Global to be eligible to take their self-study exams. If someone is going to test that, they'll need to know which, if any, exams to shoot for.

Another option that could potentially work out to be of a similar cost would be to enroll at Strayer and take one course for a cost of $1480. Strayer challenge exams are $20. They have CIS-375 Human Computer Interaction as an UL challenge exam. No idea what it transfers to TESU as but it SHOULD be UL. They also have discrete math which isn't UL but is required for CS and would be RA credit to transfer to TESU.

3 RA courses for $1520 isn't a GOOD price but since one of those would be UL it's not exactly terrible either.

CSU Global is $350 per credit. I can't think of any classes that were 1 credit. Everything I was able to register for was 3 credits. I left there in August.

There are currently two courses which are 1 credit, and one course which is 2 credits. Check again.
