I've been watching this forum from the shadows for about a year now, but I've finally decided to take the leap into getting my degree. I do have some questions before I get started though.
I know COSC requires 7 science credits, but does it matter what science credits they are?
Could I:
Take SL Anatomy & Physiology I w/ lab & II?
Take Chemistry I and Bio I w/ lab?
Take Physics I w/ lab and Environmental Science?
I'm just trying to figure out my options and make a plan. Any advice is welcome!

You can take any 2 science courses, and 1 needs to have a lab. That's as specific as they get.

Would a CLEP exam in Biology yielding 6 credits satisfy the lab requirement with the science (i.e., count as Biology with Lab)?

No, but you could take the Biology CLEP and then take the lab only through Straighterline.
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.

The way that many people here have dealt with the Science + Lab requirement lately is either by taking Straighterline Biology with Lab for four hours
http://www.straighterline.com/colleg...e-equivalency/
check for coupons!
or by taking any Nutrition course/ test (from TECEP, UExcel or Straighterline) along with a Nutrition lab from Rio Salado. It's keeping a food diary for a few days.
Rio Salado College | Rio Salado College

Check to make sure that Rio Salado will accept students from your state before you plan on that one.
You can take any other 3-hour Science to finish the 7 hours.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.
