I would not enroll at COSC until you have a lot of credits - otherwise, you pay each term to stay enrolled, and that can add up. I suppose if you're close (90-100 credits or so), and will continue taking courses during the time you're taking the cornerstone, so that you have access to the advisor would be a good thing.

I am new to this forum but I have found it to be a great resource.
I recently applied to COSC and received my transcript audit. My goal is to complete my BSBA in less than a year via testing (or other options that are suggested). I have 32 credits total from various community colleges (30) and the military (2):
Engilsh 1 (3)
Engilsh 2 (3)
Art History 2 (3)
Principles MacroEconomics 1 (3)
Principles Microeconomics (3)
General Psychology (3)
Advertising/Marketing (3)
Business 101 (3)
Principles Finance (3)
Financial Accounting (3)
First Aid/Safety (MIL) (1)
Health (MIL) (1)
I am working on my degree plan now. Where do I start?
Thanks!
I've attached my degree plan spreadsheet (hopefully it's self-explanatory).
I need a few more Upper Level and Liberal Arts courses to meet the requirements and a few credits more to reach the 120 for bachelor's.
Trying to achieve my goal as quickly and easily (even though it will never be easy) as possible.
Straighterline Intro to Communications is a much better option than DSST Public Speaking. (Other DSSTs are fine, but this one has its difficulties.)
General Business is by far the easiest concentration as most any upper level business course will fit here (you need three courses).
Such as:
Human Resource Management DSST
Business Ethics & Society DSST
Advanced Operations Management Study.com
There are several new Study.com business courses now approved as upper level which may also work here. See this thread: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/showthr...?tid=28270 These have not been upgraded on the Study.com COSC equivalency chart yet. There are Man 372 International Management, Mar 310 Principles of Sales, and FIN 334 International Finance from Davar Academy. See this website and scroll down: http://www.davaracademy.com/business.html
UExcels also work, and I took a couple, but they are not as cheap/easy to register for as other sources.
FEMA credits were the easiest way to earn free electives (literally free - meaning no cost) when I was at COSC. As far as I know, they are still accepting these. At least three of the courses are considered liberal arts also.

Hello Vet4College, I've just read your PM. I don't think I have much to add to what aj1976, dfrecore, and topdog98 mentioned.
They've pointed to all the resources and courses options that make up your degree. So, what I did is use dfrecore's template and mashed them all together, including my own recommendations using TECEPs on the "Military spreadsheet". Take a look!

Thanks Topdog98 --- the UL courses at study.com are going into my plan. I'm making the SL Communications course my option A as well.
Thanks all for reviewing my spreadsheet and advice!

No problem. I have been in your shoes, so I am happy to help.
Just to clarify an earlier post, you only need three courses total (9 credits) as upper level business electives for the general business concentration at COSC. You are not required to have any other business electives. However, you can take additional upper level business electives if you want to use them for additional needed upper level credits. Sometimes it is better though to use liberal arts sources for any additional upper level credits needed to "double-dip" and get liberal arts credit if you need those.
I hope all of this makes sense.
