I am new to this forum but I have found it to be a great resource.
I recently applied to COSC and received my transcript audit. My goal is to complete my BSBA in less than a year via testing (or other options that are suggested). I have 32 credits total from various community colleges (30) and the military (2):
Engilsh 1 (3)
Engilsh 2 (3)
Art History 2 (3)
Principles MacroEconomics 1 (3)
Principles Microeconomics (3)
General Psychology (3)
Advertising/Marketing (3)
Business 101 (3)
Principles Finance (3)
Financial Accounting (3)
First Aid/Safety (MIL) (1)
Health (MIL) (1)
I am working on my degree plan now. Where do I start?
Make spreadsheet so we can see where the slotted your transfer credits.
Looks like all of your credits are LL. Verify this, but COSC requires 30 UL credits and 15 must be in the major. Becareful when picking courses to make sure those requirements are being met.
Fill in Capstone and Cornstone as COSC courses.
Have you chosen a concentration?
What type of providers are you most interested in for credit? Test center based providers (CLEP, DSST), CBT training remote testing providers (Study.com, Straighterline, Sophia, etc), cheapest, fastest?
Free credits - search this forum for TEEX and the Insurance Institutue.
TECEP Eng Comp I, Marriage and Family, Strategic Management, Networking, Computer Concepts, Liberal Math, Tech Writing, Managerial Accounting DSST MIS, Cybersecurity Study.com Macroeconomics COSC Cornerstone, Software Engineering Straighterline Business Ethics
Next: Related classes at local CC and various Cybersecurity certifications.

I'm a good test taker and I am looking for the quickest possible path to a BS in Business Administration. I am not opposed to any option that can get me the credits I need.

Here's a TESU spreadsheet to show what you would need if you switched over:
The main reason I chose COSC is that they offer 50% tuition discount for CT veterans.

Here's an older spreadsheet I have for the COSC BSBA. Pay attention to the UL credits you need, because COSC requires 30cr UL in specific areas of the degree, and I don't have those in there correctly.
Also, check out study.com's transfer listing. It is not updated, and a bunch of courses got upgraded to UL recently, but COSC hasn't updated their transfer info, so that won't be correct. But at least you know what they offer.

You asked, "Where do I start?"
Your general education credits are a good place to start. You are going to need a total of 10 upper level courses, so it is good to take upper level courses whenever you can. For example, you can take these three DSST exams: Vietnam War (Global Understanding), Civil War & Reconstruction (U.S. History/Government), and Business Ethics & Society (Ethical Decision Making). These will take care of some of your general education requirements and are all upper level. The Business Ethics & Society DSST also counts as an upper level business elective requirement. (Note: Although it covers both requirements, it only counts once, as 3 upper level credits.)
So my point is, if you are smart with your choices, you can be more efficient in getting this done.
You will be enrolled in the Cornerstone course when you officially enroll at COSC. My advice is to only take the Cornerstone and Capstone at COSC and transfer in all the other courses.
CLEP, DSST, Study.com, Straighterline, and Davar Academy are some of the best sources. Use the master exam list that was previously posted for CLEP & DSST equivalencies. The others have course equivalencies listed on their websites. You will have to try some of these options and see which you prefer. To be on the safe side, get your exams/courses pre-approved by an advisor or registrar prior to taking them.
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.

Thanks for the UL courses advice.
In regards to getting pre-approval from an advisor at COSC, they require a $150 deposit for an advisor to be assigned. Since I won't be officially enrolling until I acquire more credits, would I lose that deposit and access to my advisor if I don't enroll in the upcoming spring semester?
