Currently studying for this exam, and found another nice lecture series that I quite enjoyed:

Economists Do It With Models — Warning: “graphic” content…

They seem to be quite light-hearted about the learning of economics, somewhat fosters a fun learning environment. Also, the teacher is quite easy on the eyes Smile It's refreshing to a nice girl with such big...neurons.

I primarily used a textbook written by Mankiw. It was easier to understand than other textbooks I got from the library; it also is on the clep list of recommended resources. If you're taking micro and macro I recommend getting both of the books by mankiw; the first 9 to 11 chapters are overlap.
