Check my sig for the TESU PLA tips thread. As someone who did quite a bit of PLA, I'll echo what everyone else says. If you can simply take an online course or test to get the same or equivalent credit, that will be cheaper and easier than PLA. However for a hard to find course or if you have a bunch of similar credits you can earn through PLA at the same time, it's a viable path.
