Construction Project Manager Certification

Hi,

My roommate is looking for a certificate program online for a Construction Project Manager. Does anyone on here know of any cost-effective (less than $1k) and self-paced programs from a reputable institution?

Has your roommate seen the Construction Management specialization from Columbia University via Coursera? It's going to be hard to find something fully accredited for under $1k. Coursera offers scholarships though that are pretty easy to get. If the person gets a scholarship then it would be free, but the scholarships are for each individual course within the specialization.

I know that CSU-Global has a Construction Management Certificate of Completion, and all 5 courses can be taken via SSA (so testing out) at $250/each. Total cost would be $1250.

The Construction Management undergraduate Certificate of Completion consists of five upper
division construction management and project management courses for a total of 15 credit hours.

• CMG400 Construction Cost Estimating
• CMG450 Materials Used in Construction

I would double-check to make sure they will give you this certificate without taking any courses from there.
