Become a Substitute Teacher ASAP , plz Help !

Your Age: 42

I'm a stay at home mom looking for a substitute teacher job asap. I need to get e Emergency 30 substiture teacher permit which requires an official transcript in order to be substitute teacher.

Can anyone suggest to get an whatever easy official transcript ASAP?

School Name Total Credits: # earned 60 credits with associate degree in 2002 from Utah State University


Budget: i have so less budget. I'd like to go the cheapest route possible. 
Commitments: Honestly, just kids/spouse. I can work on my studies part time or in the evenings/weekends.
Dedicated time to study: I can study as much as is needed during the night or weekends as long as my schedule is free. I estimate at least 3 hours every week night and on the weekends, maybe 6 hours, total would be roughly 15+12=27 hours or slightly more.
Timeline: Finishing the courses required for the degree as fast as possible would be ideal.  I would like to finish within less than 3 month !

@rashmew, Welcome to the board, that's a good introduction with a brief addendum and template!  Having said that, you still need to be clear on what you're looking for, and if you've researched this further already.  Basically, you need to tell us more info about the Associates you have, as an Associates in FART is very different than an Associates in Sports Management or whatever you have...

Also, what subject you want to teach, educational level you want to teach at, which 30-Day Emergency Substitute Teacher option you're going for (there are 3 or 4 available for the state of California alone). Just to let you know, 3 months is way too less time for you to complete the requirements, you need at least double or triple (if not more) that time frame in order to get all the requirements completed.

Thanks for your reply , I have a Associate degree of Science in General Studies and I need to apply the 30 emergency substitute teaching permit CL-505 P . I mainly work as a sub in elementary. I do not need to teach them anything in my bay area. It is flexbible for me. All I need is get a quick official transcript.

Yeah, so, as I mentioned, an associates in Fine Arts is different than your Associates in General Studies, having said that... Your 60 credits can be transferred to UMPI for a BLS with a minor of your choice, you just need a Bachelors and you should transfer in all the remaining requirements (30 credits) and do the 30 residency credits at UMPI to complete the degree...

Quickly apply, send all transcripts, wait for acceptance and while waiting, you complete the Sophia.org classes to hit the 90 credit max transfer. Again, you haven't listed what's in your Associates... Even if you did list all your classes, you want to create a spreadsheet template once you get your evaluation back from UMPI.

Your 60 credits from Utah transfers over, it depends where the classes land, but everything should come through properly... It's Sophia.org, not Sofia, you can take those that don't have touchstones, review the WIKI for Sophia.org equivalency and select easy ones without touchstones (assignments).

It's great you're asking questions, but you're not providing any details on the error... What is the error when you try to attach the file? Does it exceed the size? If it does, shrink that picture down and attach it. Without knowing the error, it could be user error not clicking the buttons to attach the file.

Hello @bjcheung77, I’m able to attach my class list now , this is the Utah state university international program which is eligible to continue study in US. Plz have a look. . Hopefully I can get extra 30 credit fast from Sophia n complete the UMPI BLS in 1 session. It seems the BLS in education studies is the easiest right ?

No, the BLS is the cheapest, easiest, fastest degree, but the minor is the slowest of the ones they offer, probably slower than the accounting minor as well, your best option is either Management, MIS, Project Management, any of those three minors would be best for you instead.
