After reading on this forum and getting lots of help, I still have questions. I’m going to apply for TESU hoping to get a BSBA in Marketing. Now for my questions. What is the quickest way to get this degree starting from scratch? And what timeframe am I realistically looking at? Is it best to register for TESU now or wait till I get all my credits and just transfer them in. I am very confused.
To make it more clear. I’m looking to test out of all the classes that I can
Apply if you're sure about TESU. Send transcripts. Register for a TECEP by late February and take it by late March. It can be an easier TECEP. In the meantime, start doing any of the free credits that you can and do some Modern States courses to get vouchers.
Ok what are the basic fees I am looking at to get started at TESU the wording is kinda confusing. Plus what is the study.com membership and is it worth it?
What 6 courses did you take for free? Did you stay a member? Sometimes just learning the online system (blackboard, canvas, etc.) of that education provider helps cut down on time by a lot. Even a paid fee is cheaper than CC if you do more than one per month.
The study.com scholarship you get a free personal finance course which counted as 2 credits of free electives - I ended up talking 20 total courses there, 2 were upper level. It was really good for a business degree but I would think less so for other majors. In most cases you take roughly 70-100 5 question multiple choice quizzes then a proctored final. You can also take the quizzes on their mobile app which was helpful. One I got "the hang" of their courses I powered through a lot of them in just a couple days each although ymmv
