Bachelor of Liberal Studies-Managment Minor UMPI
#1
Greetings to all,

I have a family member looking to complete a Bachelor of liberal studies - management minor at UMPI, capitalizing on Sophia credits to transfer 90 credits to the degree. The current requirements are as follows: 40 credit hours GE courses, 18 credit hour courses of Management minor (Bus 141 Intro to project man with Microsoft projects, Bus 240 Change management, Bus 321 Human resource management, Bus 415 Operations management, PCJ 215 Business communications), 62 credits Electives.

This family member is starting from scratch with no previous credits. We are in Canada. She is currently working a full time job so evenings and weekends are available. Need a ticked box for promotion. Prefer as little proctored exams as possible. She speaks Mandarin (but cannot read or write it, she immigrated at a young age).

Is the following list still applicable from Federicojavier?

Thanks for the reply. I have a bit of confusion I hope a member can help clarify. The Wiki you link to suggests 24 UL required and 41 GE required.

The current curriculum offered at Umpi lists beyond the 40 credit hours of GE and 18 credit hours of Management minor, 62 credit hours of electives. Can someone explain the difference between 40 credit hours of GE plus 62 credit hour electives and the 24 UL and 41 GE required in the link.

I have read all the links prior to posting and am asking if the courses I listed in my original post are current.

@bmac66, No, the plan you have copy/pasted is old, InstantCert ACE credits are no longer available, plus I would skip Study.com altogether.  Do the 90 credits from Sophia.org alone, unless she wants to do the ACTFL for Mandarin (Speaking version), this can net her the language requirement and skip the French I or Spanish I at Sophia.org...  Do the gen eds, minor requirements, and I suggest also doing the 3-4 classes that can go towards the MAOL from here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Un...esque_Isle
Study.com Offer https://bit.ly/4iq9BLK
In Progress: UMPI BAS & MAOL | TESU BA Biology & Computer Science
Graduate Certificate: ASU Global Management & Entrepreneurship

Completed: TESU ASNSM Biology, BSBA (ACBSP Accredited 2017)
Universidad Isabel I: ENEB MBA, Big Data & BI, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
Certs: 6Sigma/Lean/Scrum, ITIL | Cisco/CompTIA/MTA | Coursera/Edx/Udacity

Thanks BJ! Will do. She is trying to get the box ticked as quickly as possible to move on to the FCIP designation courses (Insurance) which will take her another 15-18 months.
