Now that I am registered for a TECEP, I can soon submit some more transcripts to see how my new credits fit into the BSBA Accounting plan at TESU.
The requirements now seem to be a little different from the Wiki for the AOS.
The business core seems to be the same so I am using Sophia, Straighterline, CSM Learn and Study.com to complete those.
For the Accounting AOS, I am hoping to do the following:
According to MyProgress I need 18 credits in the AOS:
6 credits: Intermediate Accounting I and II
12 credits: UL
Intermediate Accounting I (Previously completed via Straighterline I think)
Intermediate Accounting II (Plan to do with Study.com)
Advanced Accounting I (Accounting 302)
Cost Accounting (Accounting 303)
Applied Managerial Accounting (Accounting 301, UL according to the Wiki, plan to do with Study.com)
Capstone (Obviously!)
I think I still need one more UL accounting class which looks like I will need to complete from TESU or UNA unless anyone has any other suggestions I may not have seen yet.
I will update this as I see courses transfer to compare the existing Wiki sample plan to what TESU want now.

Pick your poison, since you're taking a few Study.com classes already, add the Applied Managing Accounting course as well. If you need to add another class because one isn't working for you, do the TECEP for Federal Income Taxation.

Thanks bjcheung77. I forgot to post that as I'm in Canada I am trying to avoid as many US tax or law classes as possible but I will look into that TECEP and if it doesn't seem too onerous, I will suck it up and go for it!
If that is the Accounting 301 class, I have that on my list, I will double check the equivalency page in case I missed a possible class.

From this thread by allvia: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...it-Options
There may be some Coopersmith courses that work:
Auditing of Financial Statements (ACC - 375) will transfer as TESU ACC-411 Auditing
Forensic Accounting (ACC-325) will transfer into TESU as ACC-406
Federal Taxation of Business Entities (ACC-352) and Federal Taxation of Individuals (ACC-351) will transfer as TESU ACC-421 Federal Income Taxation - Students cannot have credit for both, since they duplicate one another.

To be on the safe side, email TESU advising to pre-plan them in your degree...

Thanks bjcheung77, I appreciate that advice, safer to have it in writing!! Once my status is officially enrolled I will email and confirm those options.

Good luck Pats20 - which courses are you taking with Coopersmith? I am leaning towards the audit course as the one I am going to take. I don't think I am registered until the end of the month with TESU so I don't think I can get advising to preplan for me until then.

I am taking auditing , forensic, and taxation.
I noticed some states require an accounting information systems course specific to accounting. Where could one take that from ? I seen coopersmith offers one but it’s a 500 level course. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether that would transfer into TEsU ?

Are you in a state that requires it? Last I saw that was for someone in TX or something, the best option is to take it from a community college.
