BREXIT - UK schools changing their tuition!
#1
Hey Everyone, what is your take on the UK schools changing their tuition for EU and International students?
Recently, I've noticed there are a few that have kept tuition the same, but many have raised their tuition.
In fact, a few have doubled their EU and International students tuition or more over the last year...

There are examples of some who have provided EU/International student tuition the same as if they were local.
Mainly, these are online or blended degree offerings, such as a Bachelors or Masters Top Up options.
I guess I am looking at schools that are ranked nationally, internationally, and also have TRE recognition.

Yes, I want it all, Nationally in the top half, Internationally in the top 800-1000, and TRE Silver or Gold.
Here's an example of an inexpensive MBA International Top Up, same tuition as "Home/UK".

Frankly, I think institutions are too business like, they're all about the money sometimes.  I guess...
I am sticking with the "smaller" yet recognized ones that don't charge an arm and a leg for education.

I'm not 100% sure but maybe the programs were subsidized inside the EU before to keep the cost down. I think more people looking for online programs will go to Scotland or Ireland or other English programs in Europe. It's also almost impossible to get student funding for online programs outside EU/EES. For regular B&M programs, I doubt much will change. For US and other international students,' it's still cheaper for the most part.

They had some courses and programs I was interested in before, but with the price hikes, it's a no for me.
