I officially finished my BABA PM/IS at the end of January/beginning of February, but for some wild reason, I did go through with the psychology minor—which almost has given me a permanent eye twitch. If you’re in the psych or master’s program, you probably know exactly which instructor I’m talking about! ?Jokes aside, this program has been incredibly challenging, but it has also strengthened my analytical and speaking skills—honestly, even more than the speech therapy I’ve had to do post-craniotomy.
Is anyone planning to attend the in-person graduation, or does that feel a little too contrived? I’m debating it. I’m probably old enough to be most of my classmates’ teen mom, but after delaying my education due to medical circumstances, walking at graduation would feel like a meaningful bucket list moment. If anyone is attending the in person graduation, it’d be awesome to connect and do a DF/Reddit-YourPace mini event, since we’ve all supported each other throughout our journeys!
Did anyone else get the itch to keep going and pursue the masters too? Or any program in general if not UMPI? If you did, did it prove beneficial for you?
Anyways, thank you to all of you who provided helpful feedback, suggestions and support months ago at the beginning of my journey. Also, congrats to everyone finishing this year & if you’re reading this and contemplating on UMPI - you should definitely pursue it!

Congratulations and some questions.
1. How many courses did you take at UMPI?
2. How many courses did you take in an 8 week semester?
3. How many and how long were the papers per class?

Congrats, great work in getting that degree completed! If you're in the state and nearby, graduation in person would be an option for you, some even fly in from other states, it really depends on the student. I would go, if I really wanted to, but there is no need for me to do that, I've got many things on my plate and adding this would be a bit too much, unless I go there for a mini-vacation, now that may work...
In regards to continuing onwards, many people go from Associates to Bachelors and beyond, for UMPI, several have gone from the Bachelors and laddering up to the MAOL because they've taken 3 to 4 classes that will transfer into the MAOL, bringing the course load down to 9 from 12 classes. If a person is able to complete the 9 classes in 1 session, it'll only cost $2350! Otherwise, you're looking at two sessions at double that cost.

Hey fellow Ohio friend! I just finished my BAS with MIS,PM,BA minors also! I was thinking of going to graduation for the same reason. Bucket list I didi it! I am up in the air as it is a bit of travel I believe 16 hr drive. Or plane connections and a drive. I was going to do the MAOL myself but one I figured out it wouldn’t benefit my future goals I decided to go MBA ITM at WGU.
Keep in touch! And congratulations on meeting such an amazing goal!

Both are great options and I've been a student at both. I found the MAOL to be an amazing program and it helped open the way to the DBA program at TESU. You can't go wrong with either.
