BAH question
#1
Does anyone know if I would be qualified for FULL BAH if I take 2 online classes and 2 in the classroom? Or?

That should cover you, but it really depends on how long the classes are and how many credits each one is.
My school only has 8 and 16 week class options. 6 credits in 8 weeks(roughly 2 classes) or 12 credits in 16 weeks(4 classes) is full time. And as long as you are always taking on in classroom you are good for that requirement.

Whats a BAH?
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

It's actually not BAH, it's MHA (Monthly housing allowance) although they do use the BAH rates to determine what your MHA is.

I know in the end it's money in your pocket, so who care's what its called but it's always good to know the right term for things. Smile

You will get full BAH if you take 2 online/2 inresidence. Welcome to the GI Bill Web Site | The Home for All Educational Benefits Provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs

Superotsky, BAH question on half online and half on campus-was answered above by buffalo64 if you missed it the answer is yes. The first thing most people never get told or forget is at the end of every month you have to call in the WAVE system to verify you have been attending. It asks you for your File # which is your SS#. You are always paid a month in arrears. So if you went to class in August for example you would not see the money until a few days into September.

I am taking classes through AMU online and since each class is an 8 week class, it is considered full time and I get the full amount for each class plus about $125 for books and supplies. I thought it was a mistake once I started getting all these checks, so I called the VA and they told me I did rate them and explained what I just stated above. I hope this helps.

I Have never heard of WAVE and get checks from the VA regularly and have never had to call.
