TESC MDCP question
#1
I applied in June for the Military Degree Completion Program.
Last month I registered and paid for my first TECEP, but haven't taken it yet.
I'm still showing as an "Applicant"
I was under the impression that when you apply for the MDCP, you are automatically an enrolled student, as stated on the TESC military page "You are considered enrolled at the time of application".

When did you find your status change from "Applicant" to "Enrolled"?

Maybe I need to take the exam first?
Or do I need to chase this up?

If I need to chase this up, who would be the best person? A military counsellor or another department?

Thank you for letting me know, I've sent an email now to question it Smile

Definitely chase it up, although there have been times where certain things HAD to be delayed per their policy, such as TA taking 5 days to process and me getting automated warnings I will be kicked out of class, despite them having the TA paperwork by their own admission.

Also not a fan of their military-centric contacts; I was replied to once after I contacted them and was ignored thereafter. Their normal channels (especially academic advising once you're enrolled) is pretty quick and thorough.

I had the same issue with signing up for a TECEP but not immediately showing as enrolled. I emailed them about it, and they replied that my status would be changed to "Enrolled" approximately the 10th day of the term. My status was updated right around then.

My status has changed to enrolled Smile
I can only guess that not being under something like "GoArmyEd" or "MyCAA" makes a difference to speed
Maybe because I'm self paying and not registered via another military program, I still had to register in a class for my status to change around the 10th day, regardless of TESC stating "You are considered enrolled at the time of application"
I was a little confused
