Hello Everyone! My name is Maria and im pursuing a BA in CS at TESU. Today I will be taking the Spanish CLEP exam. I went to community college in 2009. I recently studied and passed the exams for Health, Property & Casualty Brokers Insurance license and this inspired me to go back to school. So far i’ve learned a lot from this forum. What are RA credits? Im currently using Modern States for free CLEP exams and Saylor.org courses. I applied to TESU and plan to enroll for April. I need to get a plan in place and would appreciate any suggestions. TESU should have my transcript from community college by now, I don’t remember how many credits i had I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS JOURNEY!!

RA credits are credits from an actual college or university. CLEP, DSST, Saylor, Sophia, Study.com, etc. are NOT RA credits because they originate from an outside non-collegiate source.

If you speak Spanish and want some additional credits, you can take the ACTFL exams. They do not overlap with the CLEP exam.

Welcome! The only help/suggestion I have is to mostly stay away from Saylor. My sons took several courses from there, but if we had to do it over again, then we would have never done it. Saylor courses are just tons of needless work reading, and the tests do not necessarily reflect the reading. It can be very cheap, and that is the appeal. However, my daaughter discovered Sophia. The courses there are soooooo much easier, and the cost is minimal. They sometimes have great coupons too. After you get your RA's check out Sophia.

I try them and it is to hard to pass their exams I was nothing from the that you do with they quizzes came in to the final exam I heat that they ask new question that has noting to do with their material you need to master the stuff to pass their exams.
