What credits do you already have? Are they from an RA school, such as a CC or are they all alt credits - such as Sophia, TEEX, CLEP, etc? If you do have 12 or more RA credits, you could get yourself the BOG ASS degree for likely no further cost at all; based on your statement of already having enough credits for one or more TESU associates.  If you have enough credits for two associates degrees already, you are probable far closer to a bachelor than you realize - for very little additional time/cost.  If you share with us what course/credits you curretnly have we can help you get the lowest cost and time option(s).

TESU says the following in their residency requirements:

For associate degrees the requirement is 6 credits and for bachelor’s degrees the requirement is 12 credits.

for that 6 or 12 requirement
Are you looking at the "The joint degree programs with Rutgers School of Health Professions have academic residency requirements. For associate degrees the requirement is 6 credits and for bachelor’s degrees the requirement is 12 credits."

I always took that to mean for that program not for all programs.

There's the "if you take 16 credits from tesu you don't have any extra fee to pay".  that plays more into cost and not residency credit issues. 

There's 6 credits (sos 110 and capstone) must be taken at TESU for most programs with capstones.
and then numbers are different for military.
and vary with associates (either sos 110 and a capstone or no capstone but the extra fee still applies if you don't have X credits taken at tesu.  tecep don't count toward that 16 credits to avoid the extra fee unless... military)

Oh, yes, there are a handful of associate's degrees that do not have a capstone. These include:

ASNSM Computer Science
ASNSM Mathematics
ASNSM Biology (but Biology II w/ lab is a bit difficult to get so it might as well have a capstone)
AS Business Administration (ASBA)
AAS Criminal Justice

Of these, it's usually relatively easy to get the CS or Math associate's for free when you graduate with a bachelor's degree.

Yes, there are a few Associate degrees that do not require an Associates Capstone:
Associates of Arts
Associates of Science, Business Administration
Associates of Applied Science, Criminal Justice
Associates of Science, Natural Sciences and Mathematics - Biology
Associates of Science, Natural Sciences and Mathematics - Computer Science
Associates of Science, Natural Sciences and Mathematics - Mathematics
