Are there any AACSB MBA programs online without GRE/GMAT?
#11
Hey guys, so I've applied to West Texas A&M! I haven't been accepted into any graduate program yet. Honestly I'm very nervous about whether or not all my "CR - Credit Received" classes (CLEP/DSST/SL/ETC) will throw up giant red flags for the school. I ended up getting about 1/2 my classes through non traditional methods.

Fingers crossed for me please! It would mean a lot to be accepted into a graduate program.

U of North Alabama and LSUS.EDU are options you should ponder as well.

George Mason doesn't require them if you show sufficient quantitative coursework such as stats:

George Mason's price tag is not financially friendly. I think for LSUS, the total cost is under 13k and less than 16k for U. North Alabama

Well everyone, just following up here. I've applied and submitted all my documentation to West Texas A&M. Fingers crossed for acceptance into the program!

My biggest concern is whether or not they have issues with all my "credit received" courses through TESU. The classes I did take in old brick & mortars come out to a 3.8 GPA, and my undergrad was a 4.0 through TESU. That being said... "CR" courses made up about 40-50% of my degree. I'm staying positive for now, but we shall see what happens. If West Texas A&M doesn't pan out, I'll start considering other options.

Thanks for the support everyone.

Kaskadian Wrote:Evening all,

I was wondering if any of you have heard of any AACSB online MBA programs that don't require the GRE/GMAT? I know that's a long shot... but I'm working 72 hours a week (Monday - Saturday) right now and don't have time to take a test much less really start preparing for the GRE/GMAT.

Cheers,
Kas
Yes, there are. But if you don't have time to study for the GRE, you definitely aren't going to have time to do an AACSB MBA.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

That was my first thought. You are working 72 hours a week, how in the world are you going to have the mental and physical energy to get an MBA?

university of alaska fairbanks will not require it if you have certain classes. The bsba from tesu contains all required courework.
TESU March 2020 Graduation
--ASNSM Mathematics
--BSBA Accounting
--BA Computer Science

University of Alaska Fairbanks (December 2021 Graduation Goal)
--MBA (2/10 : 4.0)

I started this journey in the summer of 2016.  I hoped to be done sooner, but I am still proud of the rate at which I have gotten my schooling done with respect to the many months of military training and deployments I have undergone.
