Are study.com psychology courses easy and very doable or hard?
#1
And how long might it take to finish one?

I'm only interested in ones that transfer to and apply to the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) bachelor's degree psychology major. It seems like it would be these courses at study.com:
  • Psychology 104: Social Psychology
  • Psychology 105: Research Methods in Psychology
  • Psychology 311: Physiological Psychology
  • Psychology 302: Cognitive Psychology
  • Psychology 306: Advanced Abnormal Psychology
Are these easy?

Are there pre-requisites for these at study.com? Can you do them in any order? I'd really appreciate it if I can find this out.

If I can do at least 3 of these, like 104, 302, and 306 I can graduate a lot faster and in no time, and at a much lower price tag.

Do you have to write anything, like an essay, or are you just taking quizes and tests to pass? Can you take quizes or tests unlimited number of times, or is there a limit, without paying more? Lots of thank you.

Quizes can be repeated up to 3 times and then the last grade stays. Quizzes from a course might overlap with other courses, so you won't necessarily have to retake every topic over and over again. Get the highest grade possible on the quizzes so that you can still pass the course even if you don't get perfect scores on the assignments or final proctored exam. Placement tests can help you speed up the courses immensely. The same quiz questions will be in the placement test, so even if you can no longer continue accelerating because you have surpassed the maximum % of the course that can be accelerated, you will already be familiar with the questions and could finish the course faster. If you are already familiar with the material, you could grind placement tests and finish the quizzes in 3-4 hours at the fastest. Exam questions on the final will be different from the quizzes.

I believe it is the highest grade. If you score 3, then 4, then 0, it should keep the 4.

You can also get credit for other courses completed. I think the same applies to their placement tests, but I'm not sure. For example, if I take placement test on Course A, then I may get credit on related Course B due to the overlap. Again, I'm not sure if this is exactly the way it works, but it may be something to try if you can find overlapping courses that you don't need to take.

Yes, Study.com courses are typically easier than those at colleges like UMGC.

You can easily complete a course in a week or less.

Before taking the final exam, you can take a practice exam. Most people score within 10% of their practice test score on the final exam.

You should be able to transfer 75% of the credits for your degree at UMGC, meaning you would only need to take 10 courses at UMGC.

All General Education courses can be transferred, except for the Professional and Career Exploration course.

This is exactly the way it works! It's very nice to open up a course for the first time and see that you already have, for example, 23% quiz completion progress from having mastered overlapping concepts in a prior course.

There are multiple placement tests for Psychology, do those first.

Head's up, the Onlinedegree Psychology 101 course is no longer valid for credit unless you were grandfathered in and started it before the time limit.

Most classes overlap with materials, not 100% overlap, but some content and quizzes would be complete when you go to the next Psych class, and that's the reason you want to take overlapping classes with your subscription... I would go in order from top to bottom on that list...
