I need to start by giving a HUGE thank you to all who contribute to this forum. I have learned so much and am hopefully now on the right path to complete my degree.
I am a Financial Advisor with multiple certifications (will list them below) and just recently took the CFP exam. In order to use the credential I need to complete my undergrad degree. AI'm assuming a Finance degree would bring in the most existing credits (or be the easiest for me as I have strong knowledge and background). That being said I am open to the least expensive, easy, quick option. I do work full time and have a family.
I have seen other old posts from others in similar positions and it seems many of our Certifications may transfer over to TESU which is where I am leaning. I have also looked at PUG as many of my financial certifications used study programs from Kaplan but I don't see anything on their website that shows they give credit for these.
My biggest concern is being able to self-pace any of the college credits and finish with the studies early (even if the degree wont come until the end of a term). Hoping to be done with all studies no later than Aug 1 (probably a pipe dream but still ...) and am planning 20-30 hours/week to study.
I have created my application to TESU but haven't submitted as it says you must list all credits to be considered but there is nowhere to list the ChFC and FINRA certifications. I will submit it once I have clarity around that and get a review completed.
I have attached a spreadsheet of my tentative plan in hopes TESU gives me the best option. I know this may change depending on what they accept for credits to transfer. I would appreciate any initial feedback as I will begin with my Sophia classes today. If you feel there is a better school option or think I should change this plan in any way I am open to ideas.
Any way to make this plan cheaper, easier and quicker ... I'm all ears!!
Again, thank you so much for the all guidance you provide here.
It is an incredible resource.

Welcome to the board, TESU BSBA with a Finance option would be a very good fit for you. Just curious if you have tuition assistance or reimbursement as you mentioned in order, least expensive, easy, quick. The plan looks sound, I don't see anything really out of the ordinary except for the residency credits, you have 15, you're missing 1 credit as the 2 TECEPs will only add to your RA requirements of 30+ credits, but will not satisfy the 16 credit residency waiver requirements. My suggestion at this time is to complete another course such as the 1 credit PLA100.

So, you are an ok fit for TESU - not great, not terrible.
ENGL-112: Freshman English (H) >> Written Comm I
SOC-110: Intro to Sociology >> Diversity
POLS-210: American Government >> Civic Engagement
PSYC-110: General Psychology >> SocSci
HIST-120: Early US History >> History
HIST-121: Modern US History >> Humanities
HDFS/L-250: Individual & Family Relations >> SocSci/Hist/Hum
BIO-122: Biology-Environmental Applications >> Science
Free electives
HLTH-101: Discovering Wellness
HT-240: Intro to Tourism
HT-202: Front Office Operations
HT-222: Institutional Food Purchasing
MATH-120: Intro to College Math I
MUSIC-265: Choir
MUSIC-267: Solo Singers
BIO-150: Biology-Environmental Science
FINRA Series 7 >> ACC-101 (Core), FIN-301 (AoS), ACC-311 (free elective)
FINRA SIE >> LAW-201 (core)
The Series 6, 63 and 66 duplicate Series 7.
That puts you at 50cr, and you still need the following:
Written Comm II
Oral Comm
College Algebra
Ethics
SocSci/Hist/Hum course (3cr min - although if you took Sophia's The Essentials of Managing Conflict for 1cr, that would prob be combined with your two 1cr music courses for the 3cr you need here)
Science (you need 3cr, your other science course is only 2cr)
The remaining core (at least 1 needs to be UL, easiest to do Int'l Business or Managerial Comm)
The remaining AoS courses (5 of them, 3 must be UL, Study.com has them all)
I'd probably consider UMPI as well. Easy enough to find out if they give credit for the FINRA exams.

I don't see the exams in the UMPI transfer equivalency database, but that doesn't mean that they won't give credit for them. Many certificates aren't listed. Even the Google ones aren't shown anymore and we know those are accepted.

The AOS the TECEP accounting course won't work. You need all finance courses.
I have all of these in the EXCEL spreadsheet, although FIN-301 is listed in Core so maybe there is something I could replace in core to move that down to AOS?
TESU website credit distribution page lists FDR-440 (Fundraising For Non-Profits) as the last of the AOS credits. Since this wasn't a FIN course I was hopeful to replace it with the Income Tax, I have lots of knowledge there and none (and no interest) in FDR.
Thanks again!

Awesome, thanks so much. I will definitely check with UMPI as well.

No tuition reimbursement ... it would certainly be nice!
Thanks for the info with the PLA!

You can take Sophia LL principles of finance which is what I took for the professional requirements.
Then take UL principles of finance for your AOS and those courses won't overlap each other.

OP - so I guess you need to list all of the courses you took for your ChFC if you took them prior to 6/30/2014. Here are the only ones that apply to the BSBA/FIN (or ACC since that might be a second concentration you might want to get if it was easy):
HS321: Income Taxation ACC-421 1/1/82-6/30/2014
HS322: The Financial System in the Economy ECO-352 1/1/97-6/30/2014

I completed mine in 2021/22.
Based on a post here from someone who completed theirs in 2016/17 it appears the 2014 dates aren't (or weren't in 2018) accurate. The poster in the link below shows the credits TESU granted in 2018:
I know it may be completely different now and will be interesting to see what they grant. Here are the courses I took: HS 300 - Financial Planning: Process and Environment HS 311 - Fundamentals of Insurance Planning HS 326 - Planning for Retirement Needs HS 328 - Investments HS 330 - Fundamentals of Estate Planning HS 321 - Income Taxation HS 333 - Personal Financial Planning: Capstone HS 347 - Contemporary Applications in Financial Planning
