I'm extremely far removed from HS and haven't taken a lit class in 10 years. I have been prepping hard on Am Lit for over a week on instantcert with the flashcards. I WAS feeling pretty confident with what I had learned. I just took the practice test in the 2016 official CLEP Study Guide from CollegeBoard and scored 19/88. It seems like almost everything I learned wasn't relevant or in the exam. Is this CollegeBoard exam an accurate representation of the real exam? Any advice, tips, notes, or sample study guides would be greatly appreciated. I feel like i just wasted a week.
This is my first CLEP of 3 with Humanities and Social Sciences and History to follow. These are the last 3 exams between me and my degree!
Thank you all in advance!!

Grab some extra resources from the library or online and study a tad bit more..
Practice test a few more times and see how you do. If you pass, excellent job...
If you don't, no sweat, there are other cheaper and faster credits you can accumulate.
Straighterline courses are easiest if you are looking for 9 quick credits.

I agree with the above poster...expand your study resources. Some suggestions:
The CLEP American Literature Study guide
American Literature (Barron's Ez-101 Study Keys) = very cheap on Amazon
The specific exam feedback section of this forum - I think you should have access to it if you're using the flashcards.

The Cyber security classes you took look very interesting but I am unfamiliar with the abbreviation TEEX, what does that mean?
Thank you

Lots of good resources here ^^ Additionally, a high school text will give you a good overview and foundation. Then you can use the other sites/books/flashcards to drill, reinforce and fill in gaps where needed.
