Has anyone taken any distance learning classes from UNL? I'm still planning out my courses and these popped up in the Excelsior course search. Looks a little cheaper than the EC classes ($513 vs $750). Is there a catch? Getting my transcripts transfered from Canada through ECE seems to be taking forever so I have lots of time to plan. The goal is to obtain a BS-BGB through Excelsior not only quickly but as cost effectively as possible. I've almost got the whole degree under the cap that my employer will pay (short of study aids that is.)

half way...
Enrolled - BS-BGB Excelsior
Completed - 65 credits
Togo - 4 CLEP, 6 DSST, 2 ECE, 1 EC Course, 1 TECEP

Here’s three interesting online graduate business programs for under $20k
https://business.unl.edu/online/
$20k for a Big Ten Masters. Not bad.
$31k for the 48 credit MBA

I am looking at their Biostats cert or Masters just recently. They tend to be the most reasonably priced Big Ten school so I don't see any downside to using them. Brand name.....reasonable price.

Yes I agree. I don’t see a downside to a BIG TEN Masters for $20k. And I believe their certs transfer in the Masters.

I'm also considering BIG TEN as an online program for now, but I don't have any free time yet.

It’s not bad Considering that the cheapest masters run around $10k excluding HAU and the few that can knock out WGU in a single session. (There may be a few others that I might be missing, or some in state resident tuitions ) So essentially you’re paying an extra $10k for the brand and alumni network. Spread out over time is not that bad.
