Question...my daughter is the opposite, she loves to read every word and take notes to digest all of the info that she can, which is great, but I am worried she won't get many courses finished by July 31st. I know that you can push start dates back after you register for a course, but do you know if once July 31st comes around, if even the ones you already registered for will then no longer be free?
I would imagine even the ones you registered for would already be free. Sophia's model works in that you pay upfront for the course. When I bought Sophia courses in the past (when they weren't free) they sent me a receipt. And the other day when I "bought" a Sophia course and it was free they still sent me a receipt. If I had to guess any classes you had purchased (even if the price was zero) would still be free even if you hadn't completed them by July 31st.
But of course idk for sure so you could always ask Sophia, their support team is super helpful.

I think natshar is giving good advice - however, there may be a caveat with transfer agreements and not getting it on ACE transcript in the allotted time.

This is great and I will knock all I can and get my kids doing the same. I may need another undergraduate degree after this is done.

I just knocked out intro to info tech and project management. The intro to info tech is similar to all the other basic, and I mean basic, information you get from similar B&M courses. Additionally, project management was a useful course that reiterated information from other management courses I've taken.

I have Project+ certification from my WGU days so it would be a duplicate entry on my transcripts, but i'm almost tempted to take the Sophia PM course as a refresher because PM is a lot more relevant to my job these days than it was almost 3 years ago

If you have Project+, you should be able to breeze through. However, with most management courses, the information differs slightly based on the person/s creating the course.
Also, those economic courses are rough lol.

Anyone know how long the turn around time is for paper grades / feedback? I’m nearly done with English Comp I and I am awaiting grades on my submitted papers so I can finish my final project.
Thank you!
