At the beginning of Dec ALEKS told me their "advanced customer solutions team" is working on it (whatever that means), and that they'd follow up with me on any updates. I haven't heard anything, but the fact that the expiration date has been extended twice now leads me to believe they probably are working with ACE. But who knows, that is entirely my speculation and I don't know anymore than anyone else.
Jennifer might have some insight since she knows someone within the ACE organization.

Wow I appreciate your quick reply, so even though the recommendation deadline is 1/31 I can still sign up and attempt credits?
Appreciate the response in all this! I have been holding off math at my local JC so I can use ALEKS to finish my math requirements.

It is literally still worth it, you have about 25 days left, and you can get the courses done, I'm suppose to be starting the 3rd course now but I'm trying to to get the score as high as 95 - 100 as it does help. I'm at 76 after just the assessment for college algebra, I learnt that be assessment does matter; the hard way, because I didn't know how ALEKS works when I started, not so much in-depth information on that on the forum.
So, with 25 days left you can get 3 courses done or 4, if you have the time and can put in an average score with initial assessment. I started on the 23rd, but with a medocre score of 3% in the initial assessment for Intermediate Algebra, I had to work my butt off to get to 94, then move to College Alegra, with only the initial assessment of 30 questions, I got the 76% and all you need as per ACE requirement is 70. I still got 2 more mandatory courses to complete, PreCalc and Intro to Stats, And probably queeze in beginning alegebra last if I still got time.
So, once again its doable as long as you're good in Math, there are other ALEKS thread on the forum that could help you as well, regardless; the initial assessment is ery very important if I must mention that you could get the passing score with just the assessments, take your time, I used 6 hours on that for College Algebra with a lot of intervals and got more than the pass mark. Someone had told me each course could be done in a day each in my thread, now I believe that. Any tip, I'll like share this, on each course, you're working on, you get more assessment after every 6 hours of log in and work on ALEKS website, so you can use that to help set up a schedule for yourself, ALEKS times out every 30mins if you must know.

Wow excellent post! I will start right away! I was on the website and not sure where to sign up exactly but I'll check the threads we have here.
You say 3 or 4 courses, so these count towards let's say...a MATH 50 or 51 (MATH 101) or something equivalent? Not too great at math (it's been about 7 years) so let's see how I do.

I was scared I would suck at Math too right but at hour passed after signing up and taking time to use other online study resources for each topic as I see the questions, it all coes back aftersome practice excercise on khanacademy, sign up there too and start usingthat to study and practice it help you understand each question a topic might have and it has videos tutoring to help you understand better. Take your time with the assessment, log out when you unerstand a quesion, go to khancademy, search topics, read, watch videos and take the practice questions on thee to gauge your understanding of each topic.
ALEKS sign up is on the hom page, create student and master account, pay the $19.99 and you're good to go, search ALEKS for any promotion, I was lucky to find one before sign up n the home or $3, ended up paying $16.95 thereabout. Aleks is ACE approved till 01/31/17 an accepted by colleges mentioned on the forum. My 4 courses actually do count towards college credits, 15 for the Math and Quantative requirements for my preferred degree.
