Okay, I think this is what you want. If not let me know...

Log in to your "Master Account" from the ALEKS home page.
On the bottom middle of the screen that comes up click on "View Progress Report"
Scroll down past the report and click on "Request New Assessment Now"
Another screen comes up verifying that you want to assign an assessment.

Hope this helps!Smile

I tried that earlier. It gives me the 25 question progress assessment. I'm looking for the 30 question 'Final Exam'. Maybe I have them confused? What one is the one I can get credit for if I get over 70%?

Sorry for all the questions. I think I am making this harder than it is.
Thanks for all your help!

Okay, you might be right about there being a 30 question "Final Exam", but you don't need that in order to get credit at the Big 3. All you need to do is keep studying and taking the ALEKS progress assessments until you get 70% or higher (on the progress assessment). Then you request it be added to your ACE transcript from here. Don't switch courses till it's approved on your ACE transcript. They are really fast about getting it approved. I had one done in like 1 hour.

Don't worry about asking questions. It's a little confusing at first!Smile
Hope this helps some!

Remember, it's 70% on the blue bar, not the green bar.

I'm confused. Are you saying that when those 25 question assessments come up every 10 hours of study, that you only need to pass with a 70% score? It never tells you what you get right or wrong, but I know I'm not getting 8 wrong every time :-(. It's frustrating to have those "in progress" things move backward.

No, you do not have to pass the 25 question assessments that come up with a 70%. Your progress bar has to show that you have mastered 70% of the course. Does that make sense? If you take an assessment and the progress bar shows 65% and then you study the topics and answer the practice questions and earn another 6%, you will still have to take an assessment. After taking that next assessment if your progress bar shows 70%, then you can request ACE review.

Hope this helps!

Listen to HorseManiac. She/he has given great advice.

When I did these courses the first thing I did was figure out how many questions I would need to answer to get to 72% (a little wiggle room in case I missed a question or two), and then I would request a new assessment using the procedure described by HorseManiac post #2. After taking the assessment and getting over 70%, I would contact ACE and have the course added to my transcript (see HorseManiac post #4).

I did use mathway to double-check my answers on Assessments, and to save time on some of the algebra questions in Pre-Calculus. This is cheating, but I can live with myself.

Gotcha. Thanks. It was confusing to see people post that they passed right away. But, they didn't just pass one assessment, then (right?). They would have had to take multiple exams until they passed the COURSE at 70%. That makes me feel not quite so stupid.

Technically if you had received 70% or higher on your initial assessment, you would have passed right away. It's all based on your knowledge of the topic you are studying.
