Getting there faster or slower than someone else is not the focus. The key is endurance.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it. I find myself already wondering what to do with all of the free time I have until May 9th (grad school start).
I feel like I should be writing a paper or something hilarious

Not to bite into all of your much deserved congrats, but what exactly is Open College @ KU? After a quick search, if I'm reading right, it's Kaplan's way of accepting a lot of credit from non-traditional sources? Seems interesting... like the for-profit world's equivalent of the Big 3? Pretty cool.
Enjoy your break!

Pretty cool. You are exactly right, it's pretty similar to the Big 3 set up. OC @KU (Open College @ Kaplan University) allows you to earn credits towards a self designed degree program at your own pace. You can transfer up to 135 of the 180 credits required (quarter system). 45 residency credits are required and can be met by taking assessments ($100, MC or written), or courses at KU. The program is self paced. So, financial aid cannot be used. However, the program is $195/month. It was flexible enough for me to finish in 3 months. Also, as part of a pilot program, I got my first 4 months FREE.

Thanks for the info. A self designed degree does sound pretty awesome, and that price isn't bad at all.
