I just logged into my capstone course after submitting my final project last week (3 weeks ahead of schedule)
fyi...The class officially ends 4/12!
Here is the message displayed:
"Congratulations on completing your degree! On behalf of all of the members of OC@KU, I want to personally applaud your efforts on this great accomplishment. Your hard work, dedication, and motivation has paid off - you are now an official Kaplan University alumni!"
Final Grade: 99.60 (A) :p
I could cry!!!! I can't believe it!
My journey started in 2003 right after I graduated high school. Several years later (including several schools, credits, poor decisions followed by better decisions), I am HAPPY, EXCITED and PROUD to have finally come to the end of my undergraduate journey. This would not have been possible without this forum (learned about SL and PF individual course offerings) and the helpful members I have met along the way. Kaplan is a FOR-PROFIT institution. However, Open College @ Kaplan University has been a God send for me. The flexibility, convenience and affordability of the program allowed me to transfer most of the course work and finish my degree in no time at all. I began OC@KU 12/10/15 and today I am officially done!!!! (approx. 3 months)

Way to go! My aunt described her liberal arts education like a giant cookie. You could always go back for a nibble. (Something like that. One of us might have had a bit too much to drink that day.) That's how I see the process that most of us are going through. If you're lucky, the educational adventure never ends.
