So, I'd just like to double check a couple things after going through this thread. I want to apply to TESU but I was waiting to get enough credits for the waiver. I have about 50ish credits. So I can apply with this now and still have the cornerstone waived? And if I add Study.com as an affiliation then I get $200 off the residency waiver. Also, is there a timeframe in which I have to complete the capstone after applying?

So, how does this discount work? We apply and use the affiliate study.com to discount residency waiver fee...plus no capstone?

Plus no Cornerstone. You still have to take the Capstone.

Quick Update on this, I had TESU add Study.com to my account affiliation. It changed my student status to "CPAPP Corporate Choice Applicant", I did in fact WAIVE the cornerstone automatically. I know this because My evaluation still isn't completed so I am showing 0/120 completed right now and I had to jump on registering for the TECEP for Strategic Management. When I went to register for the Fed Income Tax one a few weeks ago it was automatically adding the cornerstone. It does not do that anymore. TECEPs are still 114$ so no discount on those for Study.com affiliation.

Darn. Getting a discount on TECEPs would have been nice.

I emailed TESU a week and a half ago about adding the affiliate deal to my account and nobody got back to me.

Mine still doesn't say that, that I can find. I will have to email again. Thanks.

I hate to bring up an old thread but I have a question about the residency waiver. One post says TESU confirmed the residency waiver is only $1800 for affiliate members. And several people mentioned in posts after that that it was a 10% savings / $200 off the residency waiver. I was just on TESU's website and it says the residency waiver is $2200 in state and $2500 out-of-state (not including the affiliate member rate). And it says the rates were approved March 10, 2017 to be effective April 1, 2017. I just emailed TESU to see if I can pay before April 1 even though I haven't technically applied for graduation. My final ACE transcript hasn't even been reviewed. I'm hoping they will let me pay now as that could potentially be a jump of $450!!!

I just posted about this too. The new pricing is a bummer and completely negates the affiliate membership fee.
