Hello everyone,
First I am so thankful to have found this forum.
Since August I have been putting together a working degree plan for EC's BLS Degree. Since then, I have completed 4 courses. This leaves me with 19.38 credits remaining to complete my degree. Last night I set a goal of beginning an online MBA program Summer 2016. In order to do this i need to replace the courses I have on my plan with exams. They all have to be upper level arts and sciences. Taking 4 exams would leave me with just the capstone to take in January.
The issue I have is that I dont feel i would do well on exams due to test anxiety lol. I have decided on organizational behavior, social psychology, abnormal psychology and business ethics. I am considering Uxcels or Tor College for the credits.
Can someone give me advice about taking exams in general?

Pick the easiest exam, study a lot, and take it. Not taking an exam does not reduce exam anxiety - it just makes things worse.

Unless you've already taken them, DSST has several upper level tests. I think some TECEPs are also upper level.

Some of these could be taken at straighterline or other source as a regular class. A friend completed SL Business Ethics in just a week. Reducing the number of classes that must be tested out of should reduce the test anxiety right?

If you want to take self-paced courses instead, and fly through them as quickly as possible, you can: SL, study.com, propero.org, LowCostGenEd, JumpCourse, Ed4Credit - all have these courses.
Alternately, if you just want to take exams, study.com has 3 of these courses available - you can sign up for the Basic Edition or Premium Edition and study for them that way. I find that I do much better on exams if I feel more adequately prepared to take them. This may include taking the practice exams offered by the company (UExcel, DSST have them), using IC to study, etc. The more confident I am, the less anxiety I have.
Also, I know that nothing terrible will happen if I don't pass. I can find another exam instead, or take the course another way. So no need to panic over this ONE particular course. I have backup plans for every single course I need/want to take.

Thanks everyone for your advice.
I need all upper level credits in arts and sciences at this point. I have taken many psychology/sociology/business courses so I figured these would be the easiest exams for me.
I think I will try a Tor College exam over Thanksgiving break and see how it goes. It looks like the exam is 40 mc questions. (Abnormal Psychology) Unless i am ready the info wrong on the site, that doesn't sound too bad..wish me luck

Certainly! I just finished SL Eng Comp II in 9 days :-) I dont think EC accepts Buusines Ethics from SL as upper level

I keep looking for a concrete answer but have yet to find one on if EC accepts Teceps. Do you have experience with this?
