And their appeal process failed, so this is it for them I guess! Finally an end to a crappy era for them... Link:

At this point, ACICS only has about 27 schools left. They once had 300 schools - actually 900 individually accredited locations - branch campuses etc. Many went under - Corinthian, ITT etc. Others sought and found other accreditation. Some of those got religion and "converted" to TRACS. Others didn't find accreditation and some closed. The 27 left will have 18 months to find new accreditation. Tick...tick...tick.

Finally, an end to the catastrophe. 2016 would have been better - but this is OK. Had to wait for the decision of a
sane Administration. I'll take this.

Stratford University (formerly accredited by ACICS) just announced they are closing.

Interestingly, they haven't mentioned this on their website. They also still indicate that they're accredited by ACICS.

A small university to close with little warning. It blames the Education Department for its end. (msn.com)
Yeah, right. DOE is responsible because they (Stratford) never bothered trying to find another accreditor since the bad ship ACICS was listing horribly to starboard in 2016. How is that DOE's doing?
They could have prayed for guidance, called TRACS and been "saved." The only people who have my sympathy in this are Stratford's 2,000 students.

Color me not surprised. they've likely abandoned ship. No paycheques = Nobody left to maintain the website.
