I do take notes, yes. And the Astronomy class actually advised going back and forth between the weekly quiz assignment and the videos, as necessary.
ASU credit for $99 until 08-17-2020!

You have to use RPNow/PSI if you want to get your exam transcripted for credit. It's not a live proctor like ProctorU but it is still a proctor. It's not like Sophia where your typing is used as a biometric method to determine whether you are taking the exam or someone else is.

Somewhere in this thread, I read that 3 classes in the EA program at ASU are not proctored. That's important for my child right now since our library is closed and we live in a rural where we have slow Internet and we cannot use proctoring services that use too much bandwidth.
Which 3 classes don't require proctoring? Thanks!

I *think* it's the english composition ones since they rely more on writing papers. Class starts tomorrow for the instructor paced programs(if you want the $99 price) but you can start the self paced english comp course anytime, though you'd still have to complete it by October 25 for the $99 price. https://ea.asu.edu/courses/english-composition-eng-101

Thank you MNomadic. Someone had mentioned there were 3 classes that don't require proctoring. Eng 101 & 102 seem to not require proctoring. I'm wondering what the other one is?

Anyone take ASU's ENG 101 (Eng Comp) or 102 (Research & Writing)? Each class has 5 papers due and few other assignments. Can you add some details about the papers required, especially the length, as well as they other assignments? How many hours do think you invested each week? I'm wondering if I can complete them before Oct 25th?

Its Eng Comp 1. I decided its way too much work for me for english course

Hey all, there seems to be an update to the date, it's now August 25th (as per their link below).
Furthermore, it's a bit confusing, do you have to complete the course by the date and pay the $99? I think it's you need to start the course by August 25th, not finish it, but want to make sure... Link: https://ea.asu.edu/how-it-works
