ASU credit for $99 until 08-17-2020!
One thing I really like about the ASU courses is the Cerego flashcards you get. I installed the app and it's so much easier to go through this stuff on my phone than logging into ASU and doing the flashcards there.

I was not aware of that, thanks for the tip. I do like the Cerego to review. I usually do a review right before he quiz or test. I'll try to get the app now for my phone.

Admittedly, it's a bit annoying to set up the first time. You have to have a password to log in. But, of course, you haven't been given a password for Cerego. Do forgot/reset password (I forget which one applies) and then try both your @asu.edu email and the one you used to sign up for ASU in the first place. Mine happens to be my @gmail account, but I don't know that others don't use @asu.

Obviously too late for you now, but for others, if you're in Cerego within the course content, you can click the phone icon the top right corner & setup a password for mobile access. Smile

I used the same gmail address that I used to register for ASU. The cerego app sent me a "magic link" to click on and sign in. As soon as I clicked on the link it signed me in and all of my ASU classes were there. It was very easy that way and I appreciate the way they set it up.

Anyone know how many proctored exams make up the intro to sociology course? When I studied before I had to travel about 40-60 mins to a library to do video proctoring due to the upload requirements. Just curious how many times I'd need to do that.

I just took it about a week ago and it was just one, the final. Also the final is week four through week seven, don't do what I did and study the whole thing.
I don't think libraries are open but they ask for a private room.

If it helps, I'm pretty sure they use RPNow and not ProctorU. ProctorU has some ridiculous requirements, RPNow was pretty easy.

I had major issues with RPNow and had to drop out of all but two of the ASU EA courses (Eng Comp courses, which don't require proctoring). Can't use Windows 10 Pro with their proctoring software. Yes, really.

Not sure how Windows 10 is fine but Pro isn't, but both the lockdown browser company and ASU confirmed it to me after it was unable to install their software despite doing everything to get it running. Pity, because I was a 95% in Human Origins and a 98% in Sociology before the finals.

Guess I learnt some fun stuff at least, but uhg I feel pretty bitter about RPNow and ASU now.

Wait, what? I don't have Win10 home (I forget what edition I have; will check later) and it worked fine with SDC. I guess I need to take the practice proctored exams ASAP.
