The counselor just said I needed it so she signed me up for it, neglecting to inform me that you were expected to have a lot of background knowledge from at least high school chemistry(which I had none).
I have enough basic knowledge to understand most of everything so far (I've always liked science). The issue is the sheer amount of work. If someone asks you to draw a picture of a tree in crayon every 5 minutes, it's not overly difficult. But if you're not allowed to do anything but draw pictures of trees then you're going to start to get bored. I keep drawing trees over here and the stack of blank paper just keeps getting taller and taller. Just watching the videos (without even trying to understand them) takes forever. And then there are 5-10 questions to answer after each video. Like what the heck is wrong with you people, what sadist came up with this course?
I am taking the chemistry course and haven't understand most of the videos yet for week 2. Then I found this website and they made everything clear(er) in about 2 minutes of reading: https://brilliant.org/wiki/sigma-and-pi-bonds/

If it's that much work, I'm not sure about that - even for an audit. What question have you been unable to find anywhere? I am very curious now.
I'm surprised at how little work there is each week for human communication. I think it was about 20 minutes of video for week 2 plus the textbook reading?
Personally, I think Sophia.org's Macroeconomics and Microeconomics are very adequate for non-Economics and Business major students. Unless you work in a finance industry, you won't need more info beyond what Sohpia.org provides. I have taken microeconomics at an expensive private university 9 years ago but I've never needed much knowledge from it to make living.
Economics is very useful when you remember that economists have successfully predicted 17 of the last 3 recessions.

Weird. I wonder why it's not working, then. I would suggest contacting Cerego support to see if they can help you.

What did you do after you downloaded flash and kept getting just a blank white screen?
I downloaded "flash for other browsers" - which can be difficult to find because the Adobe site doesn't really work for this EOL product. I think the URL I got it from was https://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/flashpl...player.exe If you downloaded and installed any other Flash version (such as the one for Chrome/Opera or Internet Explorer), that might explain what happened.
With Flash installed, everything worked. I get asked for the code, I do the room scan, all that stuff.
I just hope that PSI updates their browser in the next few months because it's soon going to be impossible for new students to take the test due to the lack of Flash downloads/support.
Replying so I can find this post if I need it in a few months when I'm taking a final for one of my ASU courses.
So frustrating! I went to take my final for computer applications yesterday and did the ID/user photo and room scan flawlessly(I've done it dozens of times by now), but there was no option to start my exam within the PSI browser and there were no instructions anywhere to take the exam in a different browser so I panicked and contacted tech support. They have no idea what they're doing honestly and eventually I gave up. This morning I get an email saying my proctoring was accepted even though I literally didn't even start the test(If my session was actually reviewed, they'd clearly see that) and now I have a final grade of 0/40 with a congratulations that I my proctoring passed. Now I'm frantically trying to get everything reset so I can actually take my test. Why even have a proctoring service and why not put explicit instructions in the course?

The proctoring is done with PSI. The exam is done in FF or Chrome or whatever browser you use normally; keeping PSI open in the background. I agree that it's not that obvious and they should explain it better.
