Hi all,
New to the forum, but I've been reading many posts over the last few weeks and this place certainly contains a wealth of information.
I'm posting in regard to the ALEKS College Algebra course (ACE). I registered for the course a few days ago and initially assessed at 50%. Since then I have worked my way up to 60%.
Say I am still at 60% tomorrow and am given an assessment, if I pass the assessment (70% or >), does that mean I am eligible to file for credit from ACE and therefore have passed this particular class?
Thank you

Yes. You simply log into ACE and request a transcript.

Ok, so just pass an assessment and that's it? That's how I would pass a class?

Same question: I just did an initial assessment on intermediate algebra and it brought me to 72% on the pie chart. Can I log into ACE and request a transcript?
Finished: BA Liberal Studies TESU 2016

Yes, you're done!
Don't start the next course (if you want to do another one) until you see the course you just passed on your ACE transcript.

ACE wants to charge me $20 to send the transcript over to TESU. Do you know of a way around this?

$20 for the first, $15 for subsequent. No workaround of which I'm aware. AFAIK, best you could do is: if you know you'll have multiple ACE transfers, wait until you have them all done before you request the transcript. If I remember correctly, I think I had to pay $40 for my initial transcript just last year.

I agree with adavis84 - wait until you're done with all of your ACE courses to send the transcript. I think almost everyone will charge you to send a transcript (CC, 4-yr college, CLEP & DSST if not immediately upon finding out your score, etc.).
Since you know what TESU will count everything as (based on the list in your signature), there is no hurry to get the ACE transcript in anyway.

I looked yesterday when adding a course to my ACE transcript and the initial fee is now listed at $25.00!
