ACTFL taken as a job requirement, can it be transferred to credit.
#1
At the company where I work. In order to qualify for the customer service, I had to take the ACTFL Speaking Proficiency test for Spanish. After that I was promoted to translation and took the ACTFL Listening Proficiency
Test for Spanish. Both tests were graded a superior.

Has anybody tried to transfer ACTFL scores from work to ACE?

I know that is a long shot. But just wondering.

I have a friend who took the ACTFL and received 9 ACE credits for it. She's planning to transfer to TESC.

I tried to do this same thing, but they won't release the scores for credit unless you were the one paying for it (not your work) they also claim that the test is slightly different for college credit which i don't buy, Its a cash call for sure.
Ace recommends 6 LL credits AND 8 UL credits (superior/high advanced level) for EACH of the written and spoken assessments, (28 credits for two test? wow!) not sure if anyone has tried to apply this to their degree plan but it is the ACE recommendation for credit.

I understand that. But nowadays at work, there is a lot of phony bilinguals.
A transcript with a lot of foreign language credits makes the difference for certain positions.
