My legal name (on my Social Security card) includes a suffix. So far, I hadn't been using the suffix (or middle initial) as it wasn't required. For StraighterLine, this didn't seem to be a problem, nor did it seem to be an issue for ALEKS.
Unfortunately, the TEEX cybersecurity courses require your full legal name, which does include a middle initial and suffix. In response, I changed my ACE profile to reflect these two criteria. Prior to this change, ALEKS approval took no longer than two hours. Since the change, ALEKS approval has gone two days with no response (which seems uncharacteristic from what I've read here).
Is this of any concern? Should I simply change my profile back to what it was, without the middle initial or suffix?

You should wait until the end of Monday before you do anything, it's the "weekend" and they don't work on the weekend.
You can change it back and wait until the end of the next day if nothing happens on Monday, I would stretch it a day longer.
I doubt that minor change will affect it, if you were using a different email address altogether, then that would totally!

If possible, try and go for consistency across all your accounts. My son's name is Alexander, but his SL account was initially set up as "Alex" and we had to change it to match his ACE account (Alexander).

I'll second this. My legal name, per my social security card and birth certificate, has a suffix. When I created my account for SL, I didn't find anything related to a suffix, so I skipped it, but I used my suffix for ALEKS, TEEX, and Saylor.
It wasn't an issue for me, but anything can happen. Best to reduce your overall risk whenever possible.
